These Terms of Use establish the proper use and maintenance of your Vehicle Magnets.
Here at Street Graphex, we have taken the time to research and put together this fact page for you about the use and care of Vehicle Magnets. It is our recommendation that vehicles are decorated with vinyl graphics so if your intention is leave the magnets in place long term, we recommend using vinyl lettering instead. You can get a much cleaner look without the magnetic background. If you would like more information on designing your car or truck sign using vinyl lettering please call us.
By purchasing Vehicle Magnets from Street Graphex, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and Care of Vehicle Magnets. Please read them carefully. If you do not wish follow these terms, Street Graphex will not be able to provide Vehicle Magnets to you.
Important information about Vehicle Magnets!
♦ With proper installation, Vehicle Magnets will remain in place when traveling at highway speeds of up to 60 MPH. Vehicle Magnets are designed to be removable therefore Street Graphex is NOT RESPONSIBLE in any way for loss of magnets from a vehicle for any reason.
♦ Not all vehicles are made of steel. Some vehicles use combinations of steel, aluminum, plastic, and/or fiberglass. These magnets are for use only on painted steel. Please check the area of your vehicle where you are planning to use these magnets with a magnet to determine that it is steel. Magnets are not returnable.
♦ Avoid use on horizontal metal surfaces exposed to direct sunlight (such as automobile hoods) or temperatures exceeding 150° F.
♦ Make sure the entire magnet is flat against the metal surface (i.e., no air pockets).
♦ For best results, apply Vehicle Magnets at room temperature.
♦ Use care in handling Vehicle Magnets in extremely cold conditions, as the magnetic material can become brittle.
♦ Long-term outdoor usage of magnets on painted surfaces may result in fading, due to shielding the underlying color from ultraviolet rays.
♦ Do not apply your magnet over rust spots or flaky paint as this will reduce the power of the magnet and will also cause your vehicle more damage.
♦ This car door magnet is not for use under water or on aircraft.
♦ Make sure to remove the car door magnet from any vehicle before a car wash.
♦ Choose a location that is smooth, flat, or only mildly curved and metallic.
♦ Don't apply Vehicle Magnets on an area that isn't steel or that has extensive non-metallic fillers. Aluminum, wood or fiberglass will not function as a surface.

WARNING
Please understand that trapped moisture, dirt or chemicals may harm your vehicle's finish.  To protect the new, clear coat/base coat and vinyl surfaces present on some new vehicles, it is recommended the signs be removed daily and both the signs and vehicle be cleaned and dried.  Pay close attention, especially for the first 90 days of use, for any changes in your vehicle finish.  A generous waxing of both the surface where the signs will be placed and the backs of the signs themselves will help prevent damage. You MUST ALLOW WAX to cure properly!

Application Instructions*
1 - Prior to application, clean the metallic surface and Vehicle Magnets with a mild detergent. Wipe with a soft cloth and allow to dry.
2 - Determine the location to place Vehicle Magnets Before affixing Vehicle Magnets to a metal surface, be sure all surface paints, clear coats and waxes are cured or hardened. Approximate curing times are:
     ♦ paint - 90 days,
     ♦ clear coat - 60 days,
     ♦ wax - 2 days.
3 - Affix Vehicle Magnets onto the surface. Make sure that the Vehicle Magnet is flat over the entire surface. There must be no air pockets, the corners and edges should be smooth and flush with the the surface. To adjust the location of Vehicle Magnets after placement, remove completely and reposition by lifting at the sides to remove, not the corners. Please note that sliding Vehicle Magnets into position may cause stretching.

Magnetic signs are easily removed! If your vehicle is parked in the open, remove the signs and place them inside the vehicle. That way the signs will stay in your possession!

Do's ...
♦ Do remove Vehicle Magnets daily for cleaning.
♦ Do wipe both Vehicle Magnets and the metal surface with a mild detergent. This helps protect Vehicle Magnets
from moisture and dirt buildup, and the underlying metal surface from dirt and scratches.
♦ Do Wipe Vehicle Magnets dry with a soft cloth or allow to air dry.
♦ Do allow 2 days for the wax to cure after waxing and polishing before applying Vehicle Magnets.
♦ Do store Vehicle Magnets in a clean, dry place when not in use.
♦ Do store Vehicle Magnets flat or rolled and standing on end to prevent creasing. If storing rolled, keep the printed surface
     facing outward.
and Don'ts...
♦ Don't place Vehicle Magnets over protrusions, fixtures or concave areas, such as: molding, lights, reflectors,
decals, pin stripes, air intakes, wells and spoilers.
♦ Don't apply Vehicle Magnets to horizontal metal surfaces subject to direct sunlight and high heat, such as auto hoods.
♦ Don't layer one Product on top of another when applied to vehicles.
♦ Don't place other objects on top of a stored Product.
♦ Don't store with magnetic surfaces facing each other when multiple Products are stored together.
♦ Don't apply Vehicle Magnets onto any surface if it was stored with the magnetic side facing outwards.
