The most common weights are the 10 oz for indoor use and 13 ounces for outdoor applications. A quality vinyl banner will use an outside hem to
ensure that grommets are secured properly. Grommets are the nickel holes that enable the banner to be hung on fence posts, walls, or on the side of a building.
In windy conditions, if your banner is not securely fastened to a wall, and the grommets are not in hems, the grommet holes will easily tear out of the banner.
D-Rings are used on pre-finished outdoor banners to add strength and help secure the banners.
Vinyl lettered banners: produced by applying individual elements cut from self-adhesive vinyl by a computer-driven vinyl cutter.
Screenprinted: produced using screenprinting, in which different colors are laid down one at a time using stencils.
Digitally printed banners: printed with different types of inks, treated with UV-cure to provide better resistance to the weather.
